Slogans and graffiti in the streets:

- L’été sera chaud! (Summer will be hot!)
- On ne revendiquera rien, on ne demandera rien. On prendra, on occupera. (We will beg for nothing. We will ask for nothing. We will take, we will occupy.)
- In a society that has abolished every kind of adventure the only adventure that remains is to abolish the society.
- Sous les pavés, la plage. (Under the paving stones, the beach.)
- Vivre sans temps mort et jouir sans entrave. (Live without wasted time and enjoy without hindrance.)

“Humanity won’t be happy till the last capitalist is hung with the guts of the last bureaucrat.”
Outstanding. Julie and Scott Brusaw have an idea which if realized would literally change the world: Solar Roadways. This idea would dramatically reduce—if not completely eradicate—our dependence on the limited, destructive, and hazardous energy sources we currently rely on to power our vehicles, heat buildings, and light up our streets. What’s more, Scott mentions how this would impact our economy with respect to jobs:
It would take 5 billion twelve-foot by twelve-foot panels to cover the roads in the U.S. That’s a lot of manufacturing. That’s a lot of jobs.
The Brusaws are champions and I truly hope their idea comes to fruition. They’re off to a good start because the Federal Highway Administration awarded Solar Roadways a $750,000 grant for exploration and production. Their first parking lot prototype is slated to be ready this coming fall.
(This video is part of a series/project called Focus Forward Films, which showcases people with huge ideas to change the world.)
